About Us
Welcome to the website of the Prince William County, Virginia Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated. We are proud to be a member of the premiere organization for African American children. This site was created to serve as a resource for members of our chapter, as well as to inform those in the community about our mission, community efforts, and upcoming events.
Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is a membership organization of mothers with children ages 2 – 19. We are dedicated to nurturing future African American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving and civic duty.
The Prince William County Chapter follows the goals of the national organization:
-
To create a medium of contact for children which will stimulate growth and development;
-
To provide children a constructive educational, cultural, health, recreational and social program;
-
To aid mothers in learning more about their children by careful study;
-
To seek for all children the same advantages which we desire for our own;
-
To support all national legislation aimed at bettering the conditions of all children.

The boundaries for the Prince William County Chapter include the counties of Prince William and Fauquier.
We take tremendous pride in offering quality programming consistent with national initiatives.
President's Message
Welcome to the Prince William County, VA Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. website! The Prince William County Chapter was established in 1984 through the dedication and commitment of our chapter organizer, Associate Jewel Dr. Frances K. Wood.
As the President for the 2024-2026 programming years and on behalf of the extraordinary mothers of Prince William County, it is my honor to extend a warm greeting to all. We are so excited about the wonderful and impactful things that Prince William County has done and will continue to do in our community. This program year is especially meaningful as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of our Phenomenal Five Star Chapter! For four decades, we have diligently served our community, providing educational, civic, recreational, social, and other opportunities for our community, especially our children, to learn, grow, and excel. Looking forward, we will continue to nurture the next generation of servant leaders.
Thank you for visiting our website. We are committed to continuing our legacy of excellence and service in Prince William County.
Best Regards,
Alene Devereaux
Chapter President
